Princess Cruises

We boarded Ocean Princess in Athens We have not travelled on a small ship before, we liked the smaller ship very much and would definitely travel on one again The food was excellent, we ate in the Club restaurant in the evening and in the Panorama buffet restaurant for breakfast and lunch The choice of food both for breakfast and lunch was excellent with different things on offer every day The meals in the club restaurant were all good, I have to have a gluten free diet and it was catered for very well

We visited Mykonos, Santorini, Kefelonia, Itea and Kusadasi They were all different, we only took one organised tour and that was to the ruins of Ephesus and the shrine of the Virgin Mary They were both very interesting places to visit We did our own thing in the other places we visited In Kefelonia we saw loggerhead turtles swimming along side the ship

The entertainment was first class, the best being the Beatles tribute band, the Beatles Connections, We are big Beatles fans and have see various Beatles tribute bands, but these were definitley the best we have seen Also the Canadian comedian Cary Long whos observations were first class The mental magic of Alan Chamo was very interesting The Cruise Director Jason Parsons was a very good host

All in all a very good cruise, we particlarly liked the small ship where you got to know people quite well, because you saw them more often than you would on a big ship
