Royal Caribbean Cruises, Brilliance of the Seas, Transatlantic
My friend and I really enjoyed our 11 days on board this ship. It helped that we were upgraded to an outside with a balcony, but we are sure we would still have been happy in our booked outside cabin. The ship is spacious with a very good 'centrum'. Plenty of lifts although they got crowded after returning from shore excursions. More than 60% of the evening shows were good, alternatively there was plenty of other forms of entertainment. Our days were busy with whatever we pleased, sometimes lounging, sometimes rushing from one activity to another. You will not be bored. We made friends with the people on our table in the main dining room, although we only ate there three times. We found the buffet selection in the Windjammer more to our liking. As a vegetarian, my friend had a few problems finding enough protein choices. I had no problems, often choosing three deserts to sample. My only gripe was with the Internet service. It is expensive and slow, sometimes wasting a log-on for no results. Credits given were put on the Internet usage even though we couldn't use them up. I would still rate this cruise 4 out of 5.
