NCL Cruises, Norwegian Jade, Mini Cruises

My wife and I wanted to try cruising so we felt that this mini cruise offered by NCL would be a good test. I have to report that we made a good choice, we had a great time. I am pleased to say that, having read some of the other reviews, we did not experience the difficulties that some other passingers encountered. We found the service excelent, the staff helpfull and polite and we had no problems eating, although we used the smaller dining rooms and were happy to pay the small cover charge to have the cumfort and convenience to eat when and where we wanted. We used the Blue Lagoon for Breakfast on the Saturday, we did not have to queue were seated straight away, the service was excellent (no extra charge) We used the buffet for breakfast on the Sunday we were expecting a scrum but there was none, there was plenty of spare seating and the choice was excellent. We used the buffet for lunch on both days and again encountered no problems getting seated we found the choice of food vast and the quality good. We had no issues with our accomodation or with the staff who looked after us well. We saw a show "Shout" which we thoroughly enjoyed save for the drinks being constantly passed backwards and forwards in front of us, why some feel the need to booze all through a show in a theatre beats me! I have read other views of issues with boarding service etc. but bear in mind that this was a short good value excursion and, as in all holidays, in the end they are what you make them: Think positive! All in all we had a great weekend and will cruise again.
