My friend and I chose a 7 night Princess Cruise round the Caribbean to celebrate my 50th birthday the previous November. What can I say - it was fab. The cabin was spacious and although we had a balcony and thought we might spend time on it when setting sail, we preferred to sail from port standing on the deck with a champagne cocktail in our hands. We chose anytime dining and met loads of really friendly people during our cruise. The destinations we brilliant - we swam with dolphins (Cozumel) and stingrays (Grand Cayman), splashed up water falls and drank cocktails on the beach in Jamaica and best of all was the day in paradise aka Princess Keys. We had lovely professional photographs taken on the formal evening - we dressed up 'posh' and enjoyed champagne that flowed like water. All in all a wonderful holiday on a beautiful ship with excellent crew. (So good in fact that next June we are off for 14 nights on Grand Princess round the Med. to celebrate my friends 40th!) PS Do not bother with a balcony - an outside cabin would be fine. We hardly set foot on ours so this time are having a better cabin without one.
