Royal Caribbean Cruises, Explorer of the Seas, Caribbean

We chose this cruise as it left from Port Liberty so we could have a couple of days in New York before the cruise. Sailing out past Manhattan was one of the most memorable things I have ever done. Approaching the ship we were amazed at how it looked and we certainly weren't disappointed after boarding! The inside cabins were spacious enough for the amount of time we spent in them and the cabin staff were excellent. In fact all the crew were very courteous. Activities for our eight and sixteen year old children were great, in fact my eight year old daughter flat refused to leave the kids club before 1am every day! The St Thomas sailing and snorkelling to Turtle Bay was great fun with lots of Rum punch on the return journey! The entertainment was generally very good, shows, bands playing, all different types of music, there really was something for everyone. We have already booked with Royal Caribbean again. Jo Davidson
